The in-person village accountability health peace-building dialogues.
Due to the nationwide absence of village accountability platforms, our organization decided to establish in-person village accountability health peace-building dialogues, where village residents hold their leaders, including local government officers, teachers and NGOs, to account on health and violence including online violence, through Music, Dance and Drama (MDD) performed by youths. We piloted this project in 2021 with the support of Accountability Lab Global to raise awareness on violence during the COVID pandemic, especially against women and girls in Wakiso district, Uganda.
This project has received further support from IAC Berlin in partnership with the Bosch Alumni Network, for the year 2022 until 2023.
This project has benefitted at least 120 directly in one day and at least 1000 village residents indirectly.
