Through our in-person community health support meetings, held with children, age 10-18, young women, age 14-35, and youths, age 14-35, our staff are able to receive feedback from youths on the challenges they face, especially against violence, potential solutions to such challenges and how our project activities can address such challenges or whether there’s a need to amend our activities in order to meet their challenges. Worth noting is, it’s through these support meetings that we discovered the importance of creating a digital mobile application to address fundraising challenges, particularly at the village level given the lack of networks, and village dialogues to raise community awareness on violence, especially against women and girls at the level.
This activity has impacted at least 30 people directly and at least 60 people indirectly.
